Then I have
Officially crossed over.
I think I am finally seeing
What happy looks like.
The past few weeks,
Have been a mix of emotions.
During the course
Of winter break,
I found someone
That I love talking to,
Had my car totalled,
Frantically searched for a new car,
And the true person
Within myself.
And through family connections,
And a whole
Hell of a lot
Of soul searching,
I think I have finally reached
A point of new adjectives.
Where confused,
Sad,
Angry,
Upset,
Hostile,
Stressed,
And generally unhappy
Are replaced with:
Happy,
Optimistic,
Healing,
Relaxed,
Loved,
Loving,
Creative,
Crazy,
Giddy,
And just,
I don't know,
Chill.
I started school
On Wednesday.
I love my classes,
I love my professors,
I love my CAR!!
(Which I got yesterday,
It's a 1995 Volvo,
Midnight blue,
Seat warmers,
Sun-roof,
Kick ass stereo,
The whole nine),
I love having
My boyfriend home,
Which is new for me.
I love having
My best friend Keyshia around
I love having
Many of my other good friends close
And having those who are far
Close at heart.
I'm just generally loving
This new outlook I've adopted
With the help
Of all of those
Close to me.
The sun is rising.
It's gorgeous.
And I only have to sit through
Fifty-five minutes of class,
And then my weekend begins.
